To supervise all district transportation activities including First Student Transportation for our students riding the bus, van transportation for our special needs students and scheduling all athletic and club transportation.

Bus Stop Assignments:
The WHRSD transports nearly 4,000 students to our schools. In order to transport students in a timely manner and control transportation cost, group stops have been established.

Bus Stop Responsibility:
It is the sole responsibility of the parent/guardian to supervise students to and from the bus stop.

Safety Consideration:
The student's age, physical condition, road condition and home location are all used in determining safety conditions. Recommendation from local police and fire departments combined with Administrations input is also used in determining safety conditions.

Request for Bus Stop Change:
A request for a Bus or Bus Stop change must be submitted in writing. The transportation department will approve or disapprove the change. All parties requesting change will be notified. If your request is not approved reason for disapproval will be noted.

Who Should Submit A Request For Change?
Parent/Guardian requesting a change in assigned bus or bus stop information. The request should include safety concerns and day care provider updates.  PLEASE DO NOT FILL OUT A BUS STOP CHANGE REQUEST FORM FOR CHANGE OF ADDRESS.  ALL ADDRESS CHANGES MUST BE PROCESSED BY THE WHITMAN HANSON REGIONAL SCHOOL DISTRICT REGISTRAR AT 781-618-7481.

Pick-up and Drop off Location:
Pick-up and drop-off must be consistent daily, except in an emergency situation.
