As the Whitman-Hanson Regional School District School Committee begins its Superintendent Search process, input from our community is an integral component. We are seeking students, parents, staff, and community members to serve on a Screening Committee, which will help the Committee by evaluating applications, selecting and interviewing semi-finalist candidates, and recommending finalists to the School Committee.  We encourage anyone interested to complete the linked Google Form by October 12, 2026. Individuals selected to serve on the Screening Committee will be notified by October 22, 2026. 

The Committee is also looking for feedback from stakeholders in the community about your vision for our next superintendent. Our partners at MASC (Massachusetts Association of School Committees) have helped us create an online survey to solicit viewpoints on what qualities you would like to see in the new leader of our school district, and what challenges you expect they will face.  We ask that you take a few minutes and complete this survey.

The input we receive from all members of our community–staff, students, caregivers, and citizens–will be invaluable as we evaluate and select the district’s next superintendent. Thank you in advance for your time and your candor.
