Whitman-Hanson Regional High School
Whitman-Hanson is continuously looking to improve the safety and security of our student and staff. This summer we have introduced a new procedure for visitors entering the school during school hours. Visitors upon entering the main entrance will be logged into the building by our security person. Visitors are expected to present photo identification which is used to produce a visitor ID sticker. Once the security person issues the sticker, the visitor will be allowed entrance. If visitors have high school business, they should report to the main office for assistance. Visitor stickers are to be worn when doing business in the school during school hours. Visitors are asked to sign out when exiting the building. Parents who need to drop items off for their students can leave the item with the security person who will then pass it along to main office staff, there is no need to check in.
Thank you for your cooperation with this new procedure.
