Guidelines for 2018-19 School Year

Grade 9 & 10 Only

The Whitman-Hanson Regional School District School Committee, at its meeting on March 20, 2018, voted to participate in School Choice.The number of students admitted is based upon space available as determined by the school district.

  • Applications for School Choice may be obtained by contacting the Office of the Superintendent at 781-618-7412 or via the web at

  • Applications for School Choice and all accompanying documentation will be accepted at the Office of the Superintendent of Schools via the U.S. Postal Service, fax (781-618-7099) or email ( deadline for submitting an application is 4:00 pm on Tuesday, May 1, 2018.   • Should the number of applications exceed the number of vacancies, all applications will be placed in a random drawing by the grade level as indicated on the application.

  • Students accepted by the Whitman-Hanson Regional School District will be notified via a written confirmation by approximately June 1, 2018.Parents must make a commitment, in writing, to accept placement when notified by the Whitman-Hanson Regional School District no later than June 15, 2018.
