School Safety Parent Information Night
6:30 PM to 7:30 PMOn Tuesday evening, January 8, a Parent Information Night will be held in the Performing Arts Center at WHRHS at 6:30 PM. This hour-long meeting will provide parents with information about the measures the District has taken regarding school safety. Representatives from Police and Fire Departments from Whitman and Hanson will also be present. This meeting is open to the public, and all are welcome to attend. No cost child care is being provided by the Old Colony YMCA.

There are about 50 students participating in the prom fashion show fundraiser for the American Cancer Society tonight
Tickets at $5 in advance and $7 at the door.
Raffle tickets at $ 1 each and $5 for 6.
The money goes to the American Cancer Society Relay for Life in May.

The prom will be held on Thursday, March 28th (there is no school Friday, March 29th) at Pembroke Country Club. The prom is from 6:30-10:30pm. Doors open at 6pm.
Tickets for the prom will be $65 each and will be sold from Monday March 11th-Wednesday March 20th after school in room 270. Buy your tickets early to avoid waiting in long lines on the last day!!!!
If you are bringing an outside guest to prom, you must have an outside guest form and photocopy of your guest’s ID completed BEFORE you purchase your tickets. Outside guest forms are available today, in the main office, in room 304 and in room 270.

Charlotte’s Web, starring Dakota Fanning, will be shown in the Performing Arts Center from 5:30 pm – 7:30 pm.

DRIVE 4 UR SCHOOL COMING TO W-H
Ford Motors will be bringing their “Drive 4 UR School” fundraising event to the Whitman-Hanson Regional High School on Saturday, April 27, from 9 to 5 p.m. Jannell Ford of Hanover will have 8-10 Ford automobiles on hand and available for 5-7 minute test-drives. Ford Motors will donate $20 to be split evenly between the W-H Athletic Department and Dollars for Scholars of Whitman and Hanson.
Each driver must be 18 years or older with a valid driver’s license. Only one driver per household is allowed. Residents and nonresidents are invited to participate. Ford Motor’s will donate up to $6000 for this event at W-H. For more information, please contact Mike Ganshirt @781-252-9683.
