The Indian Head School Library is a resource for both students and staff. Under the direction of librarian, Mrs. Scott, students attend library every other week. Instruction is given in a variety of genres to enable students to select books wisely. Students are allowed to take books out each week. To encourage students to take out different books, topics are selected seasonally and books are displayed to spark student interest. Students and staff also have access to a wide variety of magazines. In addition, the library is a source of audio-visual materials and a display for student work.

Students have been trained to use Destiny Quest to look up and find books on their own. This system also allows access to the World Book Encyclopedia. You can connect to these sites from the Resources page.

The Indian Head School computer lab has 26 computers enabling students to have access to technology. There are also 3 more housed in the library for student use. In addition, 14 netbooks can be signed out for use in classrooms.
