The school health program at the Indian Head School addresses health assessment, nursing practice in the school setting, care of children with special health care needs, and infectious disease control.  The school nurse is the gatekeeper of Massachusetts state laws that govern:

  • Immunizations Laws

  • Physical Exam Laws

  • Heights and Weights Screenings

  • Vision and Hearing Screenings

  • Scoliosis Screening

 

Fluoride Rinse is offered to help prevent tooth decay. This free federal program runs once a week from October thru May.
