INDOOR WALKING TRACK USERS
You must adhere to the following rules:
- Walkers are confined to using the Indoor Walking Track ONLY.
- Using any other areas of the high school is NOT PERMITTED.
- Using the stairways/hallways as additional area is NOT PERMITTED.
- Jogging is NOT PERMITTED.
- Children/carriages are NOT PERMITTED.
Please wear your ID Badge when using the walking track.

NO JOGGING OR RUNNING IS ALLOWED ON THE INDOOR TRACK
THE "FITNESS ROOM" IS NOT FOR PUBLIC USE
The school district is pleased to offer the residents of Whitman and Hanson eligibility to apply for access to use the indoor walking track at the W-H Regional High School. There is a one-time $5.00 adminstrative fee for an id badge. There is also a replacement fee of $5.00 for lost ID badges.
In order to apply for a building access pass to use the indoor track, you must complete a CORI background check (Criminal Offender Record Information).
Please bring a copy of your MA driver’s license to the Office of the Superintendent To Michelle Kelley, Monday through Friday between the hours of 2:15 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. to complete the necessary paperwork. Once you have been approved by the school district to use the indoor track, the following guidelines must be adhered to, not only for security reasons, but also for the safety of our students. Regular Hours of Operation for WALKERS:
Monday thru Friday: 6:00am to 7:00am and 3:00pm to 9:00pm
Hours of operation change during all school vacations TO 8AM-3PM CLOSED ON HOLIDAYS INCLUDING SUMMER VACATION.
Use of the walking track is at your own risk. Furthermore, please be advised the track may be in use by our high school athletes or camera crews who may be shooting high school events in the gym during the resident use times.
Rules and Regulations
Parking is permitted in visitor or student parking areas and along the access road leading to the high school in marked parking spots
Enter and exit through the gym entrance across from visitor parking
All track users must have an ID Badge issued prior to using the track
ID Badges must be worn and visible at all times
All ID cards must be signed for upon receipt
There is a $5.00 fee to replace a lost ID badge
All participants must accept the guidelines
Sneakers/walking shoes only, no cleats allowed
Jogging and running are not permitted
Children under 18 years old are not permitted unless they are a student attending the regional high school and have an their high school ID badge
Restrooms are located on the first floor gym area
Access to other parts of the building is not permitted
Access does not apply to the high school weight room
Access may be revoked if guidelines are not adhered to
School related activities have priority regarding use of the track
The walking track will not be open on Holidays and ‘NO SCHOOL’ days
